GARDEN SHOW AND MARKET

Make sure that you don’t miss the Garden Show and Market in the Stellenbosch Town Hall, Plein Street, where you’ll find everything from botanical-themed handmade crafts to quirky plant and garden goods at the Market, as well as inspirational garden installations created by display garden organiser Cobus Smit and SALI Award-winning garden designers that he invited.
This year, four of the display gardens are centered around the topic of REWILDING. REWILDING FOOD, REWILDING FORESTS, REWILDING FYNBOS & RENOSTERVED, AND REWILDING YOUR GARDEN.

These display gardens will certainly encourage you to try something new at home.

Each of these four display gardens also have a beneficiary where the plants will be installed after the show. The food garden will go to Meals on Wheels, the forest garden will go to the urban greening project of Greenpop and Stellenbosch University at Stellenbosch Hospital, the fynbos & renosterveld plants will go to Jan Marais Park and rewilding your garden will go to four different youth projects in Kayamandi, Kylemore and Jamestown.
