Nestled around the elegant Victorian villa of Bonne Esperance Boutique Guest House, dating back to 1907, the Aspidistra at Bonne Esperance Garden is a sublime blend of loose plantings and structured elegance.
Styled after an English garden, it showcases heritage plants such as a magnificent magnolia tree, a rose pergola, and a buxus border intertwined with indigenous flora. Among its treasures is a 'Cécile Brünner' rose bush over 100 years old, verified by the granddaughter of the original owner, Mr. Triblehorn. The garden also features an impressive azalea hedge and many charming old-fashioned roses. Curated by Willie Schmidt, the renowned Pasella garden guru, it has been planted and nurtured with his signature flair.
