Babylonstoren is a historic Cape Dutch farm that boasts one of the best preserved plaaswerwe (farmyards) in the Cape. It is loved for its formally designed garden that divides into 15 sections (including seasonal vegetables, edible flowers, espaliered fruit trees, berries, beehives, fragrant lawns, a prickly pear maze, fragrant climbing roses and a variety of citrus). In addition to this we have growing collections of indigenous cycads, clivias and succulents of great botanical significance.
The daily garden tour starts at 10h00. Alternatively, day visitors can join our special collections tour every weekday at 11h30. Please book your garden tour in advance: https://babylonstoren.com/visit-our-garden#garden-tour

A once-off entry fee allows you to register for Babylonstoren Garden Membership using the free Babylonstoren app. This will give you unlimited admission to Babylonstoren for 12 months.

Children of all ages are welcome. We do not allow pets, but guide dogs are welcome. Parents with prams and guests in wheelchairs, kindly note that all pathways in the garden are gravel and in some areas covered with peach pips.

Visit the Babylonstoren Tasting Room, The Story of Wine wine museum, Scented Room and Farm Shop for freshly baked bread and exclusive products produced on the farm. Also on offer are fresh fruits and vegetables from the garden, seasonal preserves, wine, our farm-grown and -pressed olive oil, aged balsamic vinegars and other hand-picked items. Babylonstoren greenery, plants, books and iconic Babylonstoren linens and homeware are available to purchase from the Garden Shop and Homeware Shop.
