The Kleinood Experience

Kleinood is a small family farm hidden in the Blaauwklippen valley.
It is home to a boutique winery where their beloved Tamboerskloof wines are made and to de Boerin who makes and offers beautifully hand-made wares.
The Kleinood Experience includes a guided farm walkabout and winery tour, followed by a wine tasting, seasonal platter and coffee in the tasting room.
The experience starts at the tasting room on Kleinood Farm, from where you will be taken on a guided walk of the gardens, the vineyards and the forest.
You will pass through various small biospheres of mainly indigenous plantings and have time to enjoy the beautiful mountain views and even do some bird watching if that makes you happy.
You will pass by the de Boerin studio and visit her shop. You will cross the Blaauwklippen river while passing through the beautiful little indigenous forest.
Your walk back through the vineyard and more fynbos, or via the olive grove.
Back at the cellar you will be guided through the winery on your way to the tasting room for a well deserved informative wine tasting and a luscious seasonal platter of hand sourced and home made treats.
